Dedham Future Problem Solving Program is a community-based initiative that offers support to Dedham coaches and teams participating in the Global Issues Problem Solving component of FPS as part of the Massachusetts affiliate program. Dedham FPS is an extracurricular academic program.

- Currently, Dedham FPS coordinates teams in grades 4 through 12.
- Primarily the coaches of Dedham teams are parents, but teams may be led by teachers or community members. Teams meet in hours after school or on weekends according to the schedule set by coaches.
- In 2012 the Global Issues Problem Solving (GIPS) program was launched in Dedham with one fourth-grade team. In 2013-14, teams participated with students from each of Dedham's elementary schools. In 2014-15 the program expanded to include middle grades students with a total of about 30 participating on 8 teams. In 2015-16 the program included a total of 7 GIPS teams and the establishment of 2 CmPS teams.
- In 2016 the program expanded to include Community Problem Solving teams at the Junior and Middle division level.
- In 2018 three Dedham GIPS teams competed at the International Conference.
- In 2018-2019 GIPS teams competed at the Junior, Middle, and Senior division levels.
- In 2019 ALL four participating Dedham teams competed at the International Conference.
